THE JESUP HOLDS MORE THAN 39,000 BOOKS IN OUR PERMANENT COLLECTION, 23,000 BOOKS AND AUDIOBOOKS TO DOWNLOAD, 1,000 BOOKS ON CD, AND 1,200 MOVIES ON DVD. THE COLLECTION INCLUDES BOOKS ON THE HISTORY OF MAINE, MDI, AND OUR LOCAL ACADIA NATIONAL PARK. WE ALSO OFFER LOCAL HISTORY RESOURCES, INCLUDING FREE ACCESS TO DIGITIZED LOCAL NEWSPAPERS DATING FROM 1881 TO 1969. ACCESS TO ANY BOOK IN THE STATE OF MAINE AND BEYOND IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE INTERLIBRARY LOAN PROGRAM. IN ADDITION,JESUP OFFERS FREE WIFI, 4 PUBLIC-USE COMPUTERS, AND PRINTING/SCANNING. aLSO OFFERED IS FREE ONLINE ACCESS TO CERTAIN RESEARCH AND INFORMATION DATABASES FROM ANY COMPUTER OR INTERNET-ENABLED DEVICE WITHIN THE JESUP. ALSO OFFERED IS INCLUSIVE PROGRAMMING ON A VARIETY OF TOPICS.
