THE OGUNQUIT CHAMBER PRODUCES AND DISTRIBUTES A VISITOR'S GUIDE, A MAP OF THE OGUNQUIT AREA, AND A DINING GUIDE. THE GUIDE OFFERS SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO SEE AND DO, AND WHERE TO DINE, SHOP AND STAY IN THE LOCAL AREA. THE GUIDE AND MAP ARE DISTRIBUTED AT THE OGUNQUIT CHAMBER WELCOME CENTER, BY MAIL BY REQUEST, AND AT MEMBER BUSINESSES AND AT MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS. WE PRINT 25,000 COPIES OF THE VISITOR'S GUIDE AND 20,000 COPIES OF THE MAP. DIGITAL COPIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON OGUNQUIT.ORG. THE CHAMBER RAISES FUNDS FROM MEMBER BUSINESSES FOR THE COMMUNITY'S RENOWNED ANNUAL FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS SHOW. IN ADDITION TO HOSTING THE FIREWORKS SHOW, THE CHAMBER PRODUCES FOUR OTHER FESTIVALS TO HELP BRING GUESTS TO THE COMMUNITY DURING THE "SHOULDER SEASON": BONAIRE, CHRISTMAS BY THE SEA, OGUNQUITFEST AND PRIDE. BONAIRE IS AN ALL-DAY MUSIC FESTIVAL HELD ON AN OCEANFRONT STAGE, FEATURING LOCAL ARTISTS AND A HEADLINE BAND; IT IS SUPPORTED WITH ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT TOWN. CHRISTMAS BY THE SEA, NOW IN ITS 37TH YEAR, BRINGS THOUSANDS OF GUESTS TO TOWN FOR THE ANNUAL PARADE, TREE LIGHTINGS, AND BONFIRE & FIREWORKS DISPLAY. OGUNQUITFEST ALSO BRINGS THOUSANDS OF GUESTS TO TOWN, AND CELEBRATES THE HARVEST SEASON WITH A CLASSIC CAR SHOW, ARTISAN CRAFT FAIR, AND HALLOWEEN-THEMED ACTIVITIES. PRIDE IS A RELATIVELY-NEW EVENT, NOW IN ITS THIRD YEAR, AND JOYFULLY SALUTES THE LEGACY OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY IN OGUNQUIT, WITH A PRIDE FLAG RAISING, COMMUNITY PICNIC, AND MUSIC.
