THE STUDIO: THE STUDIO AT METROPOLITAN SCHOOL OF THE ARTS IS A WIDELY RECOGNIZED, PRE-PROFESSIONAL AND RECREATIONAL ARTS TRAINING PROGRAM OFFERING CLASSES AND LESSONS IN DANCE, THEATER AND MUSIC FOR STUDENTS OF ALL AGES. THE STUDIO ALSO OFFERS AN EXTENSIVE DANCE AND FITNESS PROGRAM FOR ADULT STUDENTS, A PART-TIME HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM, AND AN EXTENSIVE SUMMER ARTS PROGRAM FOR ALL LEVELS.THE COMPANIES: FOUR PRE-PROFESSIONAL YOUTH COMPANIES: METROPOLITAN YOUTH BALLET, METROPOLITAN YOUTH TAP ENSEMBLE, IMPULSE JAZZ COMPANY, AND METROIMPROV, THAT FURTHER THE SCHOOL'S MISSION BY WORKING AT A PROFESSIONAL STANDARD TO CREATE AND PERFORM WORKS THAT INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE EXCELLENCE.
