White Pine Programs provides environmental education and nature connection programs that use an inclusive approach to teaching that invites people of all ages to seek joy in nature, no matter their level of comfort being outdoors. Whether an in-school program, a wilderness weekend, a community bird walk, or an immersive forest school day, our programs build connections and grow character. We teach naturalist skills and environmental knowledge while we foster belonging and independence. Participants gain the capacity to overcome challenges while developing empathy for others through play, exploration and team building challenges. Our vision to help create and facilitate an inter-generational community that restores empathy and compassion and leads a broad-based movement toward a thriving, sustainable environment for all.
