The mission is to retain and protect the natural, scenic, agricultural or open space values of real estate, to assure the availability of real property for agricultural or open space use, to further open space education and preservation within the Whitemarsh Valley, and in particular to preserve Erdenheim Farm located in Whitemarsh Township under the same meticulous stewardship of its late owner, F Eugene Dixon. The farm affords special and unique scenic vistas and agricultural landscapes that have been enjoyed and highly valued by generations of area residents, amid increasing suburban development in surrounding communities.
