THE GIVING NEST PRESCHOOLS PROVIDE CHILDCARE, EARLY EDUCATION AND KINDERGARTEN CLASSES FOR CHILDREN AGE 2 TO 6 IN SOMERSET COUNTY LOCATED IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY. THE MARTINSVILLE GIVING NEST HAS THREE LOCATIONS, WARREN, PLUCKEMIN AND WATCHUNG. THE WATCHUNG LOCATION ALSO HOUSES THE ADMINISTRATIVE AND PROGRAM SERVICES. WE HAVE BEEN AN ESTABLISHED AND BELOVED PART OF OUR COMMUNITY SINCE 2001. WE OFFER CHILDCARE FOR OVER 350 STUDENTS EACH YEAR. PART TIME, FULL TIME, AND EXTENDED CARE PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE AT EACH LOCATION; HOURS TYPICALLY RUN FROM 8:00 TO 5:00 MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE. A SUMMER CAMP IS OFFERED AT BOTH THE WATCHUNG AND WARREN SCHOOLS. BESIDES CARING FOR OUR NEIGHBORHOOD YOUTH, WE ALSO EMPLOY OVER 70 LOCAL RESIDENTS AS TEACHERS, TEACHER ASSISTANTS AND OFFICE STAFF. OUR TEACHERS DEMONSTRATE THEIR RESPECT FOR CHILDREN BY ENCOURAGING THEM TO THINK CRITICALLY, MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS, SOLVE PROBLEMS INDEPENDENTLY, AND SHARE THEIR IDEAS AND EMOTIONS. CHILDREN THAT ATTEND OUR SCHOOLS LEARN AND PRACTICE SOCIAL SKILLS AND PARTICIPATE IN FUN AND EXCITING ACADEMIC LESSONS DAILY, ENSURING A SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION TO THE LOCAL GRAMMAR SCHOOLS ONCE THEY LEAVE US. BESIDES PROVIDING A SAFE AND NURTURING SCHOOL WE ARE ACUTELY AWARE OF THE HIGH COST OF CHILD CARE AND DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO KEEP OUR COST REASONABLE FOR OUR PARENTS, OUR FEE IS CONSIDERABLY LOWER THAN DAY CARES IN OUR AREA.
