American Legion Post 81 provides support to Veterans in our community and the surrounding region. Each year, we provide a free dinner for our Veterans and their families on Veteran's Day. The project includes more than 82 volunteer hours for planning, food purchases, cooking, food service and clean-up. For Veteran's Day 2024, we served more than 90 meals to Veterans and their families at our function hall.

In 2025, the Post provided a free BBQ, including hot dogs, burgers, chips, non-alcoholic drinks and desserts. This free event occurred on Memorial Day. Collectively, more than 220 hot dogs and hamburgers were served at no cost to attendees.
