Trails - Purchased, assembled, and installed a new solar charger to power the surface well water pump that provides water for sheep that graze on the Putney Mountain summit. A trail reroute project on the main summit trail one of the busiest trails in SE VT was completed. Sixteen interpretive signs aluminum laminate with text, PMA logo and graphics were placed on the Summit Loop and West Cliff Trail and have been very well received by hikers. Finally, PMA has purchased decking for a boardwalk on the Libbys Way trail. The decking was purchased from a local sawmill and the wood is naturally resistant without chemical treatments. The new trail will bypass a severely eroded road which is muddy in the spring and after rain and is near a wetland.
