The North American Hockey Academy residential program provides high quality high school education, elite athletic training and an internationally acclaimed hockey practice and competition schedule to 40 female student-athletes. They are under 24/7 care and supervision of the NAHA coaching and residential staff. Over 20 years the NAHA college placement rate in Division 1 colleges and universities is over 90%, and overall college placement is over 95%. Recent graduates dot the rosters of elite colleges including Boston College, Boston University, Universities of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Penn State, Brown, Yale, St. Lawrence, Northeastern, and many more. NAHA also provides two of the most elite out of season events, attended by female hockey players from across North America. The NAHA Summer Showcase allows top female hockey players to gather and compete in front of college scouts from USA and Canada. Typically there are 150 players and 100 scouts at the Showcase. In addition, the players and their families have a variety of off-ice seminars to attend to help them navigate the college recruiting process. The NAHA Labor Day Tournament is one of the top female hockey tournaments in North America, attracting teams at the 14, 16, and 19 age levels. It's known as the kickoff of each college recruiting season because of the quality of the competetion and attracts well over 100 college scouts. Most players from USA and Canada, as well as Japan, China, and Czech Republic's National and Olympic Team rosters played in this event.
