Our Garden Walk is our biannual fundraiser for the club.It is a one-day event.The primary focus is to raise money for scholarships. We sell ticket books(admission) describing 5-7 local homes featuring gardens/landscapes.The sale price of each ticket book is $25.00.We partner with local businesses to sponsor the event. This corporate sponsorship helps to defray some of the ticket book printing expense. As part of the walk we have a Garden Gate Boutique at the home of one of our members featuring garden items and small plants we have collected for resale.Our members volunteer to staff the entire event.

We give two $3,500.00 scholarships typically to two high school seniors. Recently, we have extended the application to include students who are in their first or second year of college. The applicants must major in agriculture, botany, conservation, ecology, environmental science, forestry, horticulture, and/or related studies and live within the St. Charles Unit School District 303 boundaries.
