Sandglass again had a very active year locally at its home theater in Putney, Vermont and other venues in our south east corner of Vermont. We presented our 2023 installments of our "Winter Sunshine Series" for children and families, and our "Voices of Community Series" featuring performers of diverse ethnicities and cultures. Both these series include shows for local schools. Sandglass also presented its very popular early fall outdoor event "Puppets in Paradise." Finally, as always, Sandglass closed out the year with its annual "Crankie Show."

Sandglass continued touring its current shows. "When I Put On Your Glove" toured in Massachusetts, Maine and Denmark. "Babylon" toured in New Hampshire, Arizona, and North Carolina. "Oma" toured in Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maryland. "PUNSCHI" toured in Vermont and New Hampshire. "Feral" did a development residency in Massachusetts.

Sandglass continued to enhance its educational component. Sandglass conducted residencies at 2 Vermont schools and 2 New Hampshire schools. Sandglass also presented a workshop at Landmark College, which teaches students with varying learning disabilities. Sandglass held its 2023 Summer Intensive puppetry training, which draws participants from across the country and from around the world.
