IN FY2025, THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE TO END SEXUAL VIOLENCE (NAESV) ADVANCED ITS MISSION THROUGH NATIONAL ADVOCACY, COALITION SUPPORT, AND CAPACITY-BUILDING INITIATIVES. WE HOSTED A CONGRESSIONAL BRIEFING WITH THE BIPARTISAN TASK FORCE TO END SEXUAL VIOLENCE DURING SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH, AMPLIFYING SURVIVOR NEEDS AND LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES. IN JUNE, WE CONVENED 40+ SEXUAL ASSAULT COALITIONS AND CULTURALLY SPECIFIC ORGANIZATIONS FOR A NATIONAL MEETING, FOSTERING COLLABORATION ON PREVENTION AND POLICY STRATEGIES. OUR NAESV/NNEDV ADVOCACY DAY BROUGHT 70+ ADVOCATES TO CAPITOL HILL TO PUSH FOR SURVIVOR-CENTERED POLICIES. ADDITIONALLY, NAESV PARTICIPATED IN KEY NATIONAL CONVERSATIONS, INCLUDING THE SAMHSA GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PANEL, AND LED WORKSHOPS AT THE 2025 NATIONAL SEXUAL ASSAULT CONFERENCE, SHARING INSIGHTS ON HOUSING, POLICY TRENDS, AND COLLABORATION. WITH THE ADDITION OF TWO NEW FULL-TIME STAFF MEMBERS, WE EXPANDED OUR ABILITY TO SUPPORT COALITIONS NATIONWIDE. OUR TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CAPACITY GREW THROUGH THREE MAJOR FEDERALLY FUNDED PROJECTS: THE NATIONAL SEXUAL ASSAULT HOUSING COLLABORATIVE (OVW-FUNDED), THE VOCA PROJECT (IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NNEDV AND TRIBAL COALITIONS), AND THE NAESV SEXUAL ASSAULT CAPACITY BUILDING CENTER (OFVPS-FUNDED), STRENGTHENING VOCA IMPLEMENTATION, HOUSING SUPPORT, AND CROSS-SECTOR COLLABORATION. THROUGH THESE EFFORTS, NAESV REMAINS COMMITTED TO ENSURING SURVIVOR-CENTERED POLICIES, FUNDING, AND RESOURCES ACROSS ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT.
