In 2025 we provided groceries to 58,481 individuals with enough food for 701,772 meals. Each distribution contains enough food for a family of four for three days. This provides each person with twelve small meals. We provide food to those in need in the New London area with a choice of foods to provide a balanced diet of fresh, frozen and canned foods. This includes vegetables, bread, fruit, peanut butter, dairy products, meats and various other products that become available to us. Starting 1/1/23, our primary food supplier, Foodshare CT, started charging for some items through their Grocery Purchasing Program (GPP). These items were previously offered for free during the pandemic. The charged items changed from week to week.
