Members of 80% of these families, 5,172, are Asylum Hill residents.Masks: Masks and hand santizers were given out to all clients who asked for them. Special services: We provided gloves, hats, scarfs and socks to over 250 clients.Holiday items: Special holiday items were given to children and families at Easter and at Christmas in 2024 including 35 Easter baskets with toys and stuffed animals. Books were made available to all clients throughout the year. We also gave each client a special Thanksgiving pantry bag filled with holiday canned goods with their holiday meal. Backpacks stuffed with school supplies were given to several children in our client population'Sewing Program met for 4 monthsin 2024, with classes on Monday mornings.Knitting Program: The program met for 6 months in 2024 after lunch on Tuesdays.Several wome stayed after eating their meals learned to knit, working on individual projects that ranged from hats to baby sweaters to scarves and more.Direct Aid and Referrals Expenses - $31,988
