The commission is a voluntary accrediting agency for the electronic data exchange. There were 9 new accreditation reviews and 43 reaccreditation reviews performed in 2022. These reviews are designed to determine that process and procedures exist to provide security and accuracy of electronically transmitted data within the health care data exchange industry.
