An older church whose facilities had deteriorated to the degree that the city condemned the building. The congregation had dwendled to below 20 people, most of them in their sixties, seventies, and eighties. One member was 94. The men of the church did not want to take out a loan and did not believe the buidling was worth the cost of repairing it to meet city codes. As the congregation was less than 20 members they decided to donate the property to us in keeping within their dissolution policy. We accepted the donation and immediately met with the city and got a demolition permit to remove the facilities from the property. We spent the next several months removing the buildings and clearing the property. Afterwards we sold the property. The funds received were deposited into our account to be used to surther our misssion of helping other like faith ministries and ministers. The cost of demolishing the buildings and clearing the land was almost sixty thousand dollars.

Program 2
Expenses: $44,850

We are committed to help elderly pastors and their widows who have served faithfully in the ministry, that are in ill health or in financial need.
