WE CONTINUED OUR SUCCESSFUL SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM FOR CATS FROM LOW INCOME HOUSEHOLD AND IN FOSTER CARE BY FIXING 2,783 CATS. THIS HEPLED THOUSANDS OF UNWANTED KITTENS FROM BEONG BORN INTO A ALREADY HIGH-POVERTY AND OVERPOPULATED REGION. AT THE SAME TIME, WE FOUND NEW HOMES FOR 983 CATS THAT WERE EITHER RESCUED AS STRAYS OR SURRENDERED BY OWNERS WHO COULD NO LONGER CARE FOR THEM. WE WERE SUCCESSFUL IN SECURING GRANT FUNDING TO ASSIST WITH OUR LARGE SPAY NEUTER EFFORTS AND CONTINUED TO SECRUE LARGE NUMBER OF UNRESTRICTED DONATIONS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WE LAUNCHED A NEW FUNDRAISING EFFORT CALLED TAIL-END CAMPAIGN TO ENCOURAGE END-OF-YEAR GIVING AND RAISED MORE THAN 39,000 IN DIRECT DONATIONS. WE BECAME A CHARITABLE PARTNER OF OUR LOCAL AMAZON DISTRIBUTION WAREHOUSE AND BEGAN RECIEVING REGULAR DONATIONS OF CAT PRODUCTS THROUGH THEIR PROGRAM, OUR VOLUNTEERS CONTINUED TO STAFF THREE CAT ADOPTION CENTERS 7 DAYS A WEEK, HELPING US FIND HOMES FOR HUNDREDS OF CATS IN NEED. WE HAD SEVERAL EVENTS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, AND SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT ANIMAL RESCUE AND SPAY/NEUTER.
