Transitional Services - assist High School students with disabilities to achieve positive transition outcomes of community integration within the adult world. Students receive counseling services that focus specifically on career development, employment preparation, independence and integration in the work place and community. Abilities PROSPER program focuses on improving attendance and self-esteem with at-risk high school juniors and seniors. Through cooperative learning and character development via public speaking exercises and individual/team projects, the program encourages students to learn to work independently and collectively to explore real world obstacles and challenges. Corporate partners host vocational tours in their business environments and inform students of job requirements and responsibilities.
