OUR AWARD WINNING EARLY INTERVENTION AND EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS SERVE CHILDREN FROM BIRTH TO AGE 3 WHO HAVE DEVELOPMENTAL AND LEARNING DELAYS AND DISABILITIES. PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED AT HOME, IN THE COMMUNITY AND AT BOROUGH WIDE CENTERS WHICH INCLUDE HALF SERVICES. OFFERED IN THE BRONX, BROOKLYN, MANHATTAN, QUEENS, AND STATEN ISLAND, NYLEL SERVICES ENSURE THAT OUR STUDENTS RECEIVE THE EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION REQUIRED TO ENJOY THE MOST INCLUSIVE, PRODUCTIVE AND INDEPENDENT LIVES POSSIBLE. NYLEL TAKES GREAT PRIDE IN THE FACT THAT OUR GRADUATES EMERGE WITH ENHANCED SKILLS AND GREATER PREPAREDNESS TO BE SUCCESSFUL THROUGHOUT LIFE. NYLEL'S COMPREHENSIVE AND COORDINATED SERVICES INCLUDE: EVALUATIONS AND ASSESSMENTS, SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, PHYSICAL THERAPY, COUNSELING, PATIENT TRAINING, ADAPTIVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION, AND DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE CURRICULUM INCLUDING APPLIED BEHAVIOR.
