LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL INC, ALSO KNOWN AS THE EAST MEADOW BASEBALL SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION, IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION THAT WAS CREATED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CHILDREN THAT LIVE WITHIN SPECIFICALLY DEFINED AREAS OF EAST MEADOW. THE ASSOCIATION CONSISTS OF FIVE INDIVIDUAL LEAGUES WITH A COMMON GOAL TO PROVIDE A QUALITY SPORTS PROGRAM FOR THE YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY OF EAST MEADOW. THE SPORTS PROGRAMS ARE FOCUSED ON EDUCATING CHILDREN FROM THE AGES OF 5-17 ON THE SKILLS NECCESSARY TO PLAY BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL, GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, AND THE BENEFITS OF PLAYING TEAM SPORTS.
