THE FOUNDATION WAS ALSO ESTABLISHED TO SPONSOR AND PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THE STUDY OF THE PERFORMING ARTS, AND TO PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING OF THE PERFORMING ARTS OF THE VARIOUS SOCIETIES AROUND THE WORLD.
