WE HAVE PROVIDED AFRICAN DRUMMING AND CHINESE LION AND DRAGON DANCE PERFORMANCES ACROSS THE CITY. EVENTS WE PARTICIPATED IN HAVE BEEN ART ALL NIGHT WITH DRAGON AND LION DANCE PERFORMANCES IN FRONT OF THE HOWARD THEATER AND THE SHAW LIBRARY AND ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCES AT THE ANTHEM LOCATION. WE PERFORMED IN FRONT OF 20,000 PEOPLE AT THE ANNUAL FIESTA ASIA FESTIVAL. WE HELD THREE OPEN HOUSE EVENTS TO PROMOTE OUR OUT OF SCHOOL TIME CLASSES AND OUR ANNUAL FREE SUMMER CAMP FOR DC CHILDREN ALONG WITH LUNAR NEW YEAR PERFORMANCES IN WASHINGTON DC. THESE PERFORMANCES EXPOSED THE PUBLIC TO TRADITIONAL AND AFRICAN CULTURAL PERFORMANCES THAT MANY HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED BEFORE. EACH YEAR DURING FIESTA IN ASIA WE PROVIDE THE PUBLIC AN OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM WITH DRAGONS DURING THE PARADE.
