Mission

The Rose Memorial Library Association is a New York State not-for-profit corporation charted by the Regents of the State of New York and founded in 1949. To follow through on this commitment Rose Memorial offers:A popular browsing collection featuring materials available in a wide range of formats including print, av, audio, and digital.Resources offering information and instruction on a broad array of topics related to work, school, enrichment, and personal growth.Programming for all ages.oChildhood and family programs focus on literacy, social-emotional skills, creativity and play-based learning. Regular programs include:?Storytimes and Music and Movement classes for 0-5 year-olds and their caregivers?Arts and crafts?Expert-led programming?STEAM classes?Nature-based programmingTeen programs recognize the unique interests, time-restraints, social needs of patrons ages 12-18. Teen programs include:oVolunteer opportunitiesoBaby-sitter certification classesoCulinary programsoArt sessionsAdults tend to have little free time and are very thoughtful in how they spend it.
