EducationThis year, we offered the LIMS Certification Programs in two formats: a year-long format consisting of Term 1 and Term 2, and a modular format comprising four modules. All educational units commenced and concluded within the fiscal year, except for Modules II and IV, which began in June 2025 and concluded in October 2025 of the following fiscal year.We graduated twelve (12) CMAs during this fiscal year: 2 from the New York programs, 8 from our China program, and 2 from our Nova Scotia, Canada program. We also offered various education courses, including alternate route courses approved by the American Dance Therapy Association, as well as our signature introductory courses.ResearchIn 2024 we prepared the third issue of the Journal of Laban Bartenieff Movement Studies, to be published in late 2025. This peer-reviewed scholarly journal will be published once a year going forward, and will help to further legitimize our field. We continued planning the International Conference on Laban Bartenieff Movement Studies, which will take place from July 18-20, 2025. Arts & CultureDuring the 2024-2025 FY we prepared for and ran our 2025 Global Water Dances Day, which took place on June 14, 2025.
