BOMBs mission is to deliver the artists voice. We develop, publish, and preserve artist-generated materials, spotlighting artists and writers in conversation and offering a unique insight into the creative process. BOMB publishes over 360 features every year, with a focus on interviews between artists and writers at all stages of their careers. We also publish new fiction and poetry, visual arts portfolios, and short and long-form essays on new and experimental art, literature, film and music. BOMBs programs include a quarterly print magazine, a daily online publication, an Online Artists Archive of all previously published features10,000 primary-source documents by the people who make our cultureFUSE: A BOMB Podcast and an Oral History Project. BOMBs Oral History Project, which collects, documents, and preserves the stories of distinguished visual artists of the African Diaspora, now includes artists from the cities of New Orleans, New York Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles. BOMB reaches an audience of nearly one million readers annually. In 2024-25, BOMB was awarded a Bloomberg Accelerator Grant and with the funds launched its first Membership program this past summer.
