Participants acquire the necessary elementary skills and training needed for entry level employment within the construction industry. For over 26 years the organization has provided more than 10,000 jobs for local residents at major constructions sites throughout the New York City area. The organization also monitors many construction projects performed in NYC to advocate for employment opportunities for minorities in proportion to the population percentage in the surrounding communities.
