THE MAIN STREET THEATRE & DANCE ALLIANCE OFFERS THEATRE, DANCE, FITNESS CLASSES, THEATRE SHOWS, AND COMEDY & IMPROV FOR ALL AGES.-THEATER - FROM BASIC STAGECRAFT TO MORE ADVANCED CONCEPTS OF COMEDY, DRAMA, AND CLASSICAL THEATRE. FOCUS ON IMPROVISATION, THEATRE GAMES, TEAM DYNAMICS, CREATIVE MOVEMENT, SPEECH, AND VOCAL PRODUCTION; EXPLORE AND DEVELOP CHARACTERS THROUGH MONOLOGUES, SCENE WORK, AND COLD READINGS. ANNUAL PRODUCTION AND PERFORMANCE EACH SPRING.-DANCE - STUDENTS WILL LEARN BASIC, BEGINNING AND ADVANCED-BEGINNING CLASSICAL BALLET TECHNIQUE, TERMS AND STEPS. STUDENTS WILL DO BARRE AND CENTER WORK THAT DEVELOPS STRENGTH, BODY ALIGNMENT, FLEXIBILITY, GRACEFULNESS AND MUSICALITY. THERE WILL BE AN OPEN CLASS AT THE END OF THE SESSION FOR INVITED GUESTS. -FITNESS - A COMBINATION OF PILATES, YOGA, ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE AND CORE BODY MOVEMENTS. DESIGNED TO CORRECT BODY ALIGNMENT. POPULAR LOW-IMPACT AEROBIC WORKOUT, COMBINED WITH FREE WEIGHTS & BASIC FLOOR EXERCISES. DESIGNED FOR EVERY FITNESS LEVEL. YOGA AND ZUMBA IS ALSO AVAILABLE.
