Program services include a Summer Music Institute at La Schola Cantorum in Paris and spring & fall online academy courses. In July 2022, our 1st year back in Paris after the pandemic, there was clearly a demand for our programs. The 2022 July Summer Music Institute was in person, in Paris. There were 53 students who enrolled in the July 2022 summer music program. This included 2 chamber musicians, 11 conductors, and 37 composers. Also, we opened a new program for music education for another 3 students. For July 2023 (the current period) we enrolled and inaugurated our Resident String Quartet program, offering full tuition and housing to 4 highly qualified musicians. Overall, there were 24 composers, 8 chamber musicians, including the resident string quartet, 10 conductors, and 4 musice educators. Overall we had 46 students in July 2023 albeit, there was less demand for online programs. The organization charges tuition as a normal part of its program services. As part of this process, all applicants are eligible to fill out a financial evaluation form to request aid in the form of a tuition reduction. No actual amounts are paid to students. The directors consider the students resources, talent, and their parents occupations to determine if a tuition reduction can be granted. Students come from all over the USA EAMA and the National Association for Music Educators award prizes for composition for young composers which has been ongong since 2011.
