For the year ending December 31, 2025, the Organization operated the following programs:BLUE FAERY AWARD (BFA)The Blue Faery Award for Excellence in Liver Cancer Research honors researchers and medical professionals who have made significant contributions to liver cancer research, particularly in advancing prevention, detection, or treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma.HCC LUNCH & LEARNThis in-person, live, educational program provides informational sessions for patients, caregivers, and the local community about liver disease and liver cancer, including prevention, treatment options, and emerging research.LIVER CANCER COMMUNITYBlue Faery hosts a private, online HIPAA-compliant community where liver cancer patients and caregiverscan connect, share experiences, and provide mutual support during treatment and survivorship.LIVER CANCER JOURNAL PROJECTThis program was for the publication of Id Rather Be Dead Than Deaf by E. Adrienne Wilson. The author was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer one month after 15th birthday. It is the first book written from the perspective of a liver cancer patient who did not survive the disease. Note: While Blue Faery no longer solicits grants for this program, all proceeds from book sales go directly to Blue Faery.LOVE YOUR LIVERTMLove Your Liver is a public awareness campaign designed to educate at-risk populations about liver diseaserisk factors and the importance of prevention and early detection. The guide is updated every 12-18 months.THE TRUTH ABOUT LIVER CANCER (TTALC) This educational workshop series provides public education on liver cancer symptoms, risk factors, prevention, and treatment options through expert-led webinars and discussions with patients and families.YOU AND LIVER CANCER (YALC)In partnership with Mechanisms in Medicine, YALC is an educational multimedia program designed to help patients and caregivers better understand liver cancer through animations, expert videos, patient stories, and informational resources.
