Community Outreach and Training: Our community leaders are trained to go to poverty stricken and high risk communities through teaching and caring for the poor children and widows. These community leaders need encouragement and training so they can effectively serve communities that face incredible economic and social challenges. We had very empowering and encouraging conferences in Nepal, Thailand, Peru and Ecuador. Many volunteers from the USA came to help our community leaders through Medical camps & children camps.

Giving Children Hope GCH: GCH program is the flagship work of AIM. The goal of GCH is to help children in developing nations to dream bigger and break the cycle of poverty through education. There are more than 802 children in our program in India, Nepal, Tanzania, Ecuador, Thailand and Philippines. Most poor children in developing nations drop out of 8th grade and work odd jobs to provide for their family. We encourage families to think long term as they face incredible hardships every day. Staying in school and getting educated is the most effective means to have a better future. Our Caregivers work very hard to remain in touch with all the students and their families so that students dont drop out of the program. It is a challenging situation but we are seeing great success. Children receive free tutorials, school uniforms, books, shoes, nutritious meals, and toiletries for personal hygiene. This year we gave our LED rechargeable to all our sponsored children as frequent power outages in their communities can hinder their education.

Community Transformation Projects: This year 1,530 LED rechargeable Bulbs were given to all our sponsored and other children as frequent power outage in their communities can hinder their education. The ACH construction is going well as we began Phase 2 of the project. More than 600 children are enrolled in the K through 9 classes. 5 motorcycles and 4 Bicycles was given to our Community leaders. In 5 instances medical care was provided to the poor. 828 warm blankets were given to the poor during winter who have no heating in their houses. Monthly financial aid is given to 3 elderly widows. 5 farm animals (Goats) were given to widows for their livelihood. 430 grocery packets and 320 warm blankets were distributed in relief camps hit by ethnic violence. All this would not have been possible without the sacrificial and generous donations of our donors. We are indeed thankful and grateful for them.
