IN GRAND STREET SETTLEMENT'S 108TH YEAR OF OPERATION, WE CONTINUED THE LEGACY STARTED BY OUR FOUNDER, ROSE GRUENING, IN 1916. GRAND STREET PROVIDES AN INTERGENERATIONAL MODEL OF HIGH-QUALITY CHILD CARE, AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER CAMP, OLDER ADULT PROGRAMMING, AND WRAP-AROUND SERVICES TO SUPPORT FAMILIES. FY2025 (JULY 1, 2024 - JUNE 30, 2025) DEEPENED OUR IMPACT THROUGHOUT THE LOWER EAST SIDE OF MANHATTAN AND BROOKLYN AND SET A FOUNDATION FOR A COMING EXPANSION OF FEDERAL HEAD START PROGRAMS IN THE BRONX. ACROSS 39 LOCATIONS SERVING OVER 17,500 COMMUNITY MEMBERS, OUR FAMILIES HAVE ACCESS TO A WEALTH OF PROGRAMS AND SERVICES INCLUDING HIGH-QUALITY CHILD CARE, HANDS-ON AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS ROOTED IN STEAM, AND A VIBRANT AND SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY FOR LOCAL SENIORS, ALL TIED TOGETHER WITH WRAP-AROUND SAFETY NET SUPPORT.
