THE OBJECTIVES OF THE EAST GREENBUSH FIRE COMPANY ARE:1. TO ACQUIRE AND OWN FIRE APPARATUS AND OTHER EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE ORGANIZATION IN THE PROTECTION OF PERSONS AND PROPERTY FROM INJURY, LOSS, DAMAGE, OR DESTRUCTION BY FIRE, EMERGENCY OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY. THIS WILL SPECIFICALLY INCLUDE OPERATIONS AS AN EMERGENCY FIRST AID AND RESCUE SQUAD PURSUANT TO SECTION 209-B OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW. 2. TO PROVIDE SUITABLE QUARTERS FOR THE HOUSING OF FIRE APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT AND TO PROVIDE A PLACE OF MEETING FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION AS WELL AS FACILITIES FOR THE SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL USE OF THE MEMBERS. 3. BETTERMENT OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH COMMUNITY PROGRAMS AND CONTRIBUTIONS
