AT OUR WATERFRONT CULTURAL PARK AND HOME-STAGE INCUBATOR IN SAUGERTIES, NY WE CREATED AND PREMIERED TWO NEW THEATER PRODUCTIONS, PRESENTED NINE PUBLIC PERFORMANCES, AND HOSTED FOUR WEEKS OF HANDS-ON COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING. -TIDEWATER ARTS & ECOLOGY SUMMER CAMP - THREE SESSIONS OF OUR IMMERSIVE SITE-SPECIFIC DISCOVERY CAMP FOR AGES 8-13. FISHING WAS VOTED IN FAVORITE ACTIVITY -WATERFRONT WEDNESDAY - A WEEKLY EVENT SERIES FEATURING AQUARIUMS, STREAM TABLE DEMONSTRATIONS, GUEST ARTISTS AND COMMUNITY CHIORS. EACH EVENING CULMINATED WITH AN ARM-OF-THE-SEA PERFORMANCE OF FROM RAGS TO RICHES: STORIES FROM A SAUGERTIES PAPER MILL. -MASK & PUPPET THEATER INTENSIVE - A SEVEN-DAY WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS IN WHICH PARTICIPANTS HELPED CREATE CHARACTERS AND THEN PERFORMED ALONGSIDE COMPANY PUPPETEERS IN OUR 23RD ANNUAL ESOPUS CREEK PUPPET SUITE. THE PRODUCTION DREW FROM EVOLUTIONARY HISTORY AND GREEK MYTHOLOGY TO OFFER A MEDITATION AND EMPIRICAL KNOWLEDGE AND IMPERIAL OVERREACH. 2025 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT TIDEWATER CENTER INCLUDED: -INSTALLATION OF GRID ELECTRICAL SERVICE - AFTER FOUR SEASONS OPERATING TIDEWATER FROM A SMALL SOLAR TRAILER, CONTRACTORS RAN 550' OF UNDERGROUND CONDUIT AND OVERHEAD LINES CONNECTED TO THE NEW PROGRAM SUPPORT CENTER & THE PERFORMANCE TENT. NEXT STEP: A PERMANENT ONSITE SOLAR ARRAY. -PLANTED WATERFRONT BUFFER - DESIGNED TO ABSORB AND FILTER RAIN RUNOFF FROM THE PARKING AREA, THIS PLANTED BUFFER STRIP OF PERENNIALS WAS ORCHESTRATED BY MASTER GARDENER ANN KRUPP. -HAND-STENCILED BANNERS CREATED BY ARTISTIC DIRECTOR MARLENA MARALLO - OVER 150' OF IMAGES EVOKING CELLULAR BIOLOGY, HYDROLOGICAL CYCLES AND GEOLOGIC PROCESSES WRAP AROUND THE INTERIOR OF THE PERFORMANCE TENT.
