The Napa Valley Youth Symphony NVYS provides high-quality orchestral training and music education programs for youth musicians throughout Napa Valley and surrounding communities. NVYS presents full-length orchestral and chamber performances educational outreach concerts masterclasses sectional coaching and beginning-to-advanced instrumental instruction through its youth orchestra string wind and brass programs. Students ages 8-20 are accepted through open auditions and placed according to musical skill level. NVYS serves students from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds and provides tuition scholarships and financial assistance to ensure equitable access to music education and performance opportunities.
