Leadership Institute: "Building a leadership legacy" programs and events: Leadership Livingston:- The program identifies emerging leaders in the community and provides exposure to the issues and assests of the local community. It consists of a ten-month certificate program presenting the concerns facing our towns, villages, businesses, and Not-For-Profit organizations through hands-on experiences on site around Livingston County.- The program utilizes key County leaders as guest speakers to send the message of collaboration to enhance the quality of life for the community. Topics discussed in monthly sessions include goverment, public safety, economic development, and human services. Community service involvement is a prerequisiste for completion of the program. leadership ll:- A full day's experience to renew friendships and increase knowledge of the current trends in leadership training. Certificate program consists of an afternoon seminar, time for networking, a dinner speaking, and a breakfast speaker. Leadership lll:- Advances certificate program to refresh and enhance leadership skills. Program includes distinguished leadership award luncheon, guest speakers, and seminars. Leadership for Living:- Commitee to address the leadership needs of the young professionals and create a "Think Tank" to discuss the migration of the recent college graduates from the community. Inovolvement in community service and vounteerism is part of the commitee's mission. Leadership Roundtable:- This program encourages chief executive officers, buinsess owners, executive directors, and communtity leaders to share with each other valuable leadership skills and tools. A series of working breakfasts and lunches with a facilitator and follow up activities. Discovery Leadership:- This program is designed to assist retirees identify their strengths and interests in order to address the needs of orhanizations and businesses in Livingston county for support, advice, and leadership through volunteerism. Green Livingston:- An annual collaborative effort by partnering with the state university of New York College at Geneseo to provide eco-friendly education for the development of green initiatives in Livingston County.
