THE ACTIVITY OF THE TRUST INCLUDES RECEIVING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM UNISYS CORPORATION (AS PLAN SPONSOR) AND PAYING SUPPLEMENTAL UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS TO ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS UNDER THE PLAN. AS REQUIRED UNDER CODE SECTION 501(C)(17), THE EXCLUSIVE PURPOSE OF THE PLAN AND TRUST IS TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS TO ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES, AS A RESULT OF THEIR INVOLUNTARY SEPARATION FROM THE EMPLOYMENT OF UNISYS CORPORATION OR CERTAIN OF ITS SUBSIDIARIES AS PART OF A WORKFORCE REDUCTION OR LAYOFF.
