ther exempt purpose of the Chamber was achieved by promoting business growth and expansion, tourism, and the economic developmeny of Livingston county. The Chamber consists of around 600 business members and offers opportunities to serve on the following committees:- agriculture committee which promotes farming as the number one industry in the county and reconizes the contributon of farmers to the local economy. First accomplishment annual farmer and neighbor evening brings together over 325 farmers and their neighbors for a night of appreciation. Small business committee offers a series of workshops for business owners. Seminar topics can include starting up a business, internet marketing, advertising layout, and tax preparation. Tourism committee promotes many tourism. The Chamber offers the opportunity to participate in business networking by organizing events such as: luncheons, business after hours, and members only website business directory We offer Coffee Connection and Lunch Bunch networking opportunities. We publish an annual member only business directory. The chamber offers its members the following services: medical and dental insurance provided at group rates, member to member discounts, , office supply discount program , and delivery service discount program. The chamber sponsors annual recognition events including: Farmer Neighbor Dinner and Farm of the Year Award, FLX West Food Fest, ATHENA International Awards and Business of the Year Awards.
