CENTRALIZED FUNDRAISING AND BENEVOLENT CARE IS PROVIDED FOR RESIDENTS OF THE OTHER EIGHT BROTHER / SISTER RELATED AND AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS OF THE UNITED METHODIST HOMES WHICH PROVIDE SERVICES FOR THE FRAIL AND ILL ELDERLY. THE FOUNDATION IS THE DEPOSITORY FOR ALL DONOR FUNDS RECEIVED BY THE UNITED METHODIST HOMES AND HONORS AND ACCOUNTS FOR ALL DONOR RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS THROUGH ITS ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS AND METHODOLOGY. DONOR FUNDS ARE NOT CO-MINGLED WITH OPERATIONS. THE FOUNDATION IS THE RECIPIENT OF BOTH DONOR FUNDS RECEIVED DIRECTLY FROM DONORS AND BENEFICIAL INTERESTS IN PERPETUAL TRUSTS. A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF DONOR RESTRICTED FUNDS ARE DIRECTED TO BE USED FOR BENEVOLENT CARE AND / OR SUPPORT OF FRAIL AND ILL ELDERLY RESIDENTS.
