Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation that goes beyond what most housing related organizations offer to provide safe, decent, affordable housing for low income individuals, families, seniors, veterans, and persons living with disabilities. We seek to promote the self-worth and dignity of the persons we serve and the community at large by offering financial assistance and a wide range of housing services. Our clients have an average income of $25,150 and often must choose between food, health care and other basic necessities, leaving them with few resources for critical health and safety home repairs.(Continued on Schedule O)This year alone, we touched the lives of over 871 vulnerable, low income households with an investment of over $5,300,000 by providing health and safety home repairs, home modifications, comprehensive housing counseling and sustainable, affordable housing. Our programs contribute to the quality of life and positive health outcomes for both clients and our community. This program is supported by government grants and contributions.
