THE MISSION OF LITERACY VOLUNTEERS OF BROOME-TIOGA COUNTIES IS TO ASSIST ADULTS IN DEVELOPING FUNCTIONING LITERACY SKILLS. WE UTILIZE TRAINED VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE THESE CONFIDENTIAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES THROUGH A LEARNER-CENTERED APPROACH THAT VALUES AND HONORS INDIVIDUAL STUDENT NEEDS AND GOALS.
