CANCER JUSTICE NETWORK - CJN actively seeks HEALTH JUSTICE FOR ALL to improve health through preventative education and access to critical exams for cancer and other health issues in Cincinnati. Coordinating the services and resources of over 20 Partner Agencies, we are heavily focused on cancer-related health concerns among low-income and minority community members through early screening and timely treatment. In 2024, CJN had 12 Community Navigators who are trained health educators who work to reduce barriers to cancer care, connecting people with educational services aimed at the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Having noted transportation as a major obstacle in cancer detection and treatment in these communities, we identify and coordinate available transportation to and from cancer-related and all medical appointments through the use of a grant OKI Regional Council of Governments, Congregation of St. Joseph, Human Foundation Institute, Christ Church Cathedral and individual donors.
