Representative Payee Program - We provided payee services for approximately 575 clients in 2022. Payee services include but are not limited to paying monthly expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, medical fees, transportation costs, and other financial obligations. Our clients' income sources vary from Social Security or Veterans' benefits to State aid or employment. Federal and state agencies refer people to B&B. More than 97% of our clients suffer from a mental or developmental disability.

Barrier Buster Program - We provide check writing and distribution services for the Barrier Buster Unmet Needs Fund that is administered by the Washtenaw County Community and Economic Development Department. We processed more than 1300 requests for emergency expenses such as rent, utilities, food, and medicine. All requests were processed and payments issued within 48 business hours of receiving the request,
Food Card Program - We purchased more than 1500 food cards from local merchants. We received rebates/discounts for those purchases.
