My Hope Chest MHC provides financial assistance to breast cancer survivors in need of reconstructive surgery without insurance or funds to cover their share of the cost. MHC also assists with some medical and non-medical bill payments. MHC navigates applicants through one or more years of 3 surgeries and educates them on their sugery options. MHCs program operates by appealing to surgeons to provide their services free of charge or at the Medicaid rate. Because of their generosity, many women have been able to feel whole again and positive about themselves. The in-kind donations for surgeries and related services totaled 37,500. See Schedule O for additional information.
