THE STORE IS OPERATED TO PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY AND GAIN OWNERSHIP OF ITEMS ALLOWING PEOPLE A STEP UP AT LOWER COSTS THAN THRIFT OR FOR PROFIT STORES. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO GET CLOTHING AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD BASIC NEEDS EACH YEAR. INCOME FROM SALES HELP PROVIDE A PORTION OF THE COST OF OPERATION OF THE STORE.
