In 2024, Communities for Recovery Services program made significant strides in supporting recovery through volunteerism and peer support. Our 97 volunteers contributed 3,788 hours, leading 1094 support group meetings for 1751 unique individuals and 15,814 support encounters. Our community center saw 5,125 visits, including 245 new users. Volunteers' efforts in outreach, fundraising, events, and trainings have been crucial. Peer Support Specialists (PSS) provided essential guidance, with 17,377 support encounters, facilitating support groups for 439 attendees, and offering one-on-one support to 882 individuals. We hosted diverse support groups, events, and wellness programs, collaborating with other recovery organizations to ensure comprehensive support. Our Peer Leadership Academy trained aspiring Peer Support Specialists, fostering the next generation of recovery leaders.
