THE SORS EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS) DIVISION RUNS A BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AMBULANCE WITH TWO EMTS EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK AS PART OF THE ORANGE COUNTY 911 SYSTEM. THE DIVISION ALSO PROVIDES STANDBY EMS COVERAGE AT ALL UNC-CHAPEL HILL FOOTBALL, MEN'S BASKETBALL GAMES AND SELECTED POST-SEASON GAMES, PLUS SPECIAL EVENTS SUCH AS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAMES, 5KS AND COMMUNITY FESTIVALS IN THE CARRBORO-CHAPEL HILL AREA.
