GRANT RECIPIENTS ARE DETERMINED THROUGH A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW PROCESS AND MEMBER VOTING.

THROUGH THE COLLECTIVE GIVING OF ITS MEMBERS, IMPACT SAN ANTONIO FUNDS SUBSTANTIAL GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN BEXAR COUNTY AND CONTIGUOUS COUNTIES. GRANT APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED FOR 5 FOCUS AREAS: ARTS & CULTURE, EDUCATION, FAMILY, ENVIRONMENT-RECREATION-PRESERVATION, AND HEALTH & WELLNESS. TEAMS OF MEMBER VOLUNTEERS USE A COMPREHENSIVE PROCESS TO REVIEW APPLICATIONS TO SELECT FINALISTS IN EACH FOCUS AREA. MEMBERS VOTE TO DETERMINE GRANT RECIPIENTS. IN 2023, OVER 600 NEW AND RETURNING MEMBERS JOINED TOGETHER IN OVER 550 MEMBERSHIPS. 100% OF EACH 1,000 MEMBERSHIP WENT TOWARD THE GRANT POOL, ENABLING THE AWARD OF SIX 100,000 AS WELL AS FOUR 10,000 GRANTS. BECAUSE IMPACT SAN ANTONIO IS A VOLUNTEER-RUN ORGANIZATION, WE ALSO RELY ON OUR MEMBERS TO EFFICIENTLY PERFORM ALL OPERATING FUNCTIONS. MEMBER ENGAGEMENT IS HIGH, WITH RETENTION OVER 80%
