SQUIRREL HILL HEALTH CENTER GREW STEADILY THROUGHOUT 2024, SERVING 10,498 PATIENTS AT THREE FIXED SITES AND ON THE MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT, WHICH BRINGS HEALTHCARE TO ISOLATED RESIDENTS OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY. OUTPATIENT PRIMARY MEDICAL SERVICES INCLUDE PRENATAL AND WOMEN'S HEALTH CARE, PEDIATRICS, FAMILY MEDICINE, INTERNAL MEDICINE, AND GERIATRICS. INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE, AVAILABLE TO PATIENTS OF SHHC'S PRIMARY MEDICAL CLINICIANS, INCLUDES PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATIONS AND TREATMENT, INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP THERAPY, MEDICATION MANAGEMENT FOR A VARIETY OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIAGNOSES, AS WELL AS INTEGRATED MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT FOR OPIOID ADDICTION. SHHC PROVIDES PREVENTIVE, RESTORATIVE AND EMERGENCY DENTAL SERVICES AT THE SQUIRREL HILL LOCATION ONLY. SHHC ALSO PROVIDES ON-SITE LAB SERVICES, ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS, ASSISTANCE IN INSURANCE ENROLLMENT, CARE COORDINATION. A CLINICIAN IS ON CALL 24/7 AND SHHC MAKES HOUSE CALLS TO HOMEBOUND PATIENTS. THE CENTER PASSED ITS MOST RECENT HRSA OPERATIONAL SITE VISIT IN APRIL 2025 AND IS DEEMED FOR MALPRACTICE COVERAGE THROUGH THE FEDERAL TORT CLAIMS ACT.
