SUMMER EVENTS: Girls of Distinction is a ten-week program dedicated to assist girls to become productive members of society. 5. Homework Assistance, reading and tutoring are provided to help increase literacy skills. PRIMARY OUTCOME: Increased Grade Point Average; Improved Scores in Standardized Tests; Increased grade promotion and graduate rates. 6. Computer Education to bring technology to low-income children and Haitian Adults Literacy Training for Haitian Adults. WE PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR DISADVANTAGE/AT-RISK SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO SOCIALIZE AND ENGAGE IN POSITIVE ACTIVITIES THAT DEVELOP AND ENHANCE THEIR LIFE SKILLS.PRIMARY OUTCOME: Increased Leadership Skills & Self Efficacy 8. Financial Planning Seminars: PRIMARY OUTCOME: Increased Financial literacy knowledge and skills 9. Abstinence Seminars: PRIMARY OUTCOME: Improved awareness and behaviors related to sexually activity that resulted in Decreased likelihood of Teen Pregnancy and Sexually Transmitted Infection 10.
