ONE VISION INTERNATIONAL IS A NON-PROFIT WITH A MISSION TO HELP MEET IMMEDIATE PHYSICAL NEEDS IN ORDER TO WIN A HEARING TO SHARE THE GOSPEL. IN 2024, WE SUSTAINED OUR EFFORTS WITH THE SUPPORT OF OUR LOCAL PARTNERS. IN BRAZIL AND THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, OUR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS OFFERED EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE, NUTRITIOUS SNACKS AND MEALS, AND BIBLE TEACHINGS THROUGH MENTORSHIP, DIRECTLY BENEFITING 160 CHILDREN. ADDITIONALLY, OUR NATIONAL STAFF ENGAGED WITH FAMILIES TO ENSURE THEY HAD ACCESS TO THE GOSPEL AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR BIBLE STUDY. IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, THE CHILDREN HAVE BEEN THRIVING ACADEMICALLY AND SHOWING GREAT ENTHUSIASM FOR THEIR STUDIES. CLAUDIA HAS ALSO BEEN ACTIVELY DISCIPLING MANY WOMEN EAGER TO DEEPEN THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF THE BIBLE. THE SEWING GROUPS HAVE NOT ONLY CONTINUED TO MEET BUT HAVE ALSO EXPANDED, COMBINING SKILL DEVELOPMENT WITH BIBLE STUDIES DURING THEIR SESSIONS. CLAUDIA ALSO TAUGHT ENGLISH CLASSES TO TWO DIFFERENT GROUPS OF KIDS IN TWO DIFFERENT COMMUNITIES. SEVERAL TEAMS VISITED THE DR TO SUPPORT THE SEWING PROGRAM AND HELP OUR MISSIONARY WITH EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP. IN BRAZIL, THE CHILDREN IN OUR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM ARE LEARNING VALUABLE LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND BECOMING LEADERS WITHIN THEIR OWN COMMUNITY. WE SUPPORTED BRAZILIAN MISSIONARY FAMILIES BY FORMING SUPPORT TEAMS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND PRAYER. DENISE CONTINUED HER SERVICE IN THE COMMUNITY OF RANCHARIA, WORKING TO DISCIPLE 25 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. IN THE MIDDLE EAST, WE PROVIDED 100 FOOD BASKETS AND BLANKETS TO FAMILIES IN THE WINTER. WE ALSO HAD 4 OUTINGS WHERE WE TOOK ORPHANS TO THE LOCAL MALL TO CHOOSE A NEW OUTFIT AND HAVE A FUN DAY. LASTLY, WE HELPED FUND THE RENOVATION/REPAIR OF TWO LOCAL SCHOOLS.
